Unit Lab is an offline unit conversion and calculator app for iOS and Android. This policy explains what data is and isn't handled when you use it.
The app itself collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics of our own. Your settings, favorites, recent conversions, and calculator history are stored only on your device and never leave it. All conversions are performed on-device; the app's features work fully offline.
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may process device information such as your IP address, device identifiers (for example the advertising ID), and coarse location derived from IP. We do not receive or store this data ourselves.
On iOS, the app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission. If you decline, ads are still shown but Google is not permitted to use your device's advertising identifier for tracking. You can also reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings at any time.
How Google uses this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and policies.google.com/privacy.
The one-time "Remove ads" purchase is processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details. After the purchase, the app shows no ads and no ad-related data processing by Google occurs.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
